Specifications include, but are not limited to:At a minimum, the scope of work will consist of the following: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and Energy Management System Engineering Services: 1. Develop complete turnkey engineering construction documents, including all necessary MEP, Fire Alarm, Electrical, and Energy Management System engineering design plans and specifications for the replacement of all the HVAC equipment, fire alarm equipment, electrical power equipment and wiring, and EMS temperature controls equipment for the entire school. 2. Engineering design and specifications must include replacement of all fire alarm devices and components, including related wiring, as required providing full compliance with current City of Laredo Building Codes and State of Texas Life Safety Codes, as related to the replacement of all HVAC mechanical systems. 3. Engineering design and specifications must include replacement of all HVAC Air Handling Units and Condensing Units equipment, all HVAC refrigerant lines, related ductwork for supply and return plenums, and electrical equipment, panel boards, disconnects, devices and wiring within mechanical equipment rooms and yards as required for a full upgrade and replacement of all HVAC mechanical systems and its related electrical and fire alarm systems. 4. Provide on‐site project supervision, inspection by a Registered Engineer (in the State of Texas), for replacement of all the HVAC equipment, electrical equipment and wiring, fire alarm devices, equipment and wiring, and EMS controls equipment for the entire school. Weekly inspections and observations of project site by a Registered Engineer will be required, including submission of engineering reports with photos and detailed project progress information and verification of project compliance with construction documents.
