Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1 This contract includes boilers, chillers, cooling towers, condenser water systems, condensate water systems, steam systems, chill water systems, boilers, hot water systems and closed and open loop systems. 4.2 The successful contractor shall provide all chemicals, reagents, and other products necessary to maintain the systems listed in this solicitation request. All products, reagents, and other chemicals furnished under this contract shall be new and unused. 4.3 The water treatment program shall be designed to minimize scale, corrosion deposit, sludge formation, pitting, foaming, and biological fouling from slime and algae accumulation, as well as microbiological growth in the systems to be treated. 4.4 Contractor shall ensure that the quality of water conforms to the requirements specified or to relevant specifications of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)/The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). 4.5 Contractor shall dispense the chemicals at the required concentration and frequency. 4.6 Contractor shall collect and analyze samples to determine the type of treatment required. 4.7 Contractor shall analyze the treated water to determine if the water is within statutory limits. 4.8 Contractor shall review the dosing system and chemicals being used along with the water feed rate on a regular schedule to ensure the quality of treated water.
