Specifications include, but are not limited to: Firms that are able to provide Fence and Automatic Gate Installation Services for its CHP Placerville Area office. • Clear and remove all overgrown vegetation that is within 2 feet of fence line. • Remove 1100 feet of existing fence from around the CHP Area office and recycle if possible. • Remove all fence posts and concrete. Fence posts can be cut off even or just below grade. • Furnish and install approximately 1100 feet of new 9 gauged galvanized, 8- foot-high chain link fence with 90 percent privacy and protection slats (color will be determined by Area office commander) plus 3 strand barbed wire and razor wire material. • Install three (3) strand barbed wire and razor wire on main gate. • Install new line posts every eight (8) feet on center – 2 7/8” schedule forty (40) set in 12x48 footing. • Top and mid rail – 1 5/8” Schedule forty (40) • Install bottom tension wire nine (9) gauge smooth. • Install fencing/gate from building to fence line in front Memorial area to secure property. • Contractor is responsible to secure CHP property with temporary fence during this project. Existing fence can be used as “Temporary” fencing.
