Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work of the Project includes the interior remodel of the Maintenance Building, 7A, including upgrade to the mechanical & electrical systems. A. Demolition: 1. Remove existing walls noted on the plans. 2. Remove existing doors noted to be removed on the plans along with door hardware and frames. 3. Remove the janitor sink and cap plumbing pipes. 4. Remove existing light fixtures from the old walled in office. 5. Remove shelving as noted on the plans in the storage rooms. 6. Remove the existing water heater. 7. Remove the existing HVAC system. 8. Remove the existing electrical panel. 9. Remove the existing transformer. 10. Remove the window blinds and dispose. B. New Construction by Building Space: 1. Area Engineer Office – Glass front office with modular walls to ceiling. a. Existing plaster ceiling to be replaced. b. DO NOT PAINT BRICK WALLS. c. Clean windows and brick wall to like new conditions. d. Install new vinyl plank flooring – provide leveling compound so that new floor will lay flat without distortion before installing new flooring. e. Install new Rubber base. f. Provide new surface mounted 2x2 LED lighting with occupancy sensor and dimmer switch. g. A new 3-5/8” wall will be constructed between the office and women’s restroom. h. Provide a new thermostat as indicated on the plans.
