Specifications include, but are not limited to: Providing to the Department of Highway Patrol (CHP), Oakland Area office, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide a Ballistic Lobby Enclosure. A. Retrofit existing counter to accommodate new Level 3 ballistic glass. Leave existing passthrough. B. Install new Level 3 ballistic glass panels on top of existing counter in matching aluminum framing in lobby. Cut a 4” hole approximately 30” from counter top with a recessed piece of glass to act as a speaking portal. C. Install new door lined with Level 3 bullet resistant woven fiberglass panels cut to fit and painted. D. Install electronic door entry device. E. Install Level 3 bullet resistant woven fiberglass panels on front side of counter top to bottom and cut to fit. F. Install coated ¼” perforated stainless steel panels cut to fit on top of new bullet resistant panels on front of counter for aesthetics.
