Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Work includes the removal/replace of existing damaged metal coping, expansion joints, base flashing, and installation of a 3 course mastic/mesh over water damaged areas, cleaning, installation of new metal and aluminum. B. ODESSA DISTRICT HQ SIGNAL SHOP: 1. Remove metal coping cap on the perimeter of entire building 2. Extract deteriorated wall flashing material and cant strip 3. Spud rock back 1’ to grade. 4. Apply primer coat to base flashing surface. 5. Apply new cant strip to wall flashing 6. Apply new material flashing going over parapet wall, turn down flashing into scupper and secure with mastic. 7. Replace new metal material for coping cap at all perimeter coping. 8. Replace existing expansion joint in 2 locations and add metal caps. 9. 3 course base flashing with mastic and mesh (Shop Fabricates expansion flashing set metal flanges in mastic and nail vertical face with neoprene washers). 10. Flood coat base flashing and apply existing rock embedded into wet mastic. 11. Paint aluminum coating onto all new base-flashing. C. ODESSA DISTRICT HQ VEHICLE TITLES & REGISTRATION (DMV): 1. Reapply aluminum reflective roof-coating along all joints, vents pipes/drains, HVAC units, any roof penetrations. 2. Seal flexible flashing along gravel guard for entire perimeter of roof. 3. Check condensate drains are properly directing flow. D. SANDERSON MAINTENANCE FACILITY: 1. Spud rock in areas where exposed felts are present. 2. Extract deteriorated wall flashing material and cant-strip. 3. Apply a flood coat of coal-tar and pitch asphalt in exposed area. 4. Cover with existing rock in uniform areas. 5. Remove and replace existing neo expansion joint material. 6. Apply new expansion joint material with same process of 3 course application (neo-expansion flashing, set metal flanges in mastic and nail vertical face with neoprene washers). E. MONAHANS MAINTENANCE FACILITY: 1. Spud back rock in areas where exposed felts are present. 2. Apply a flood coat of Coal tar pitch asphalt in the exposed area 3. Cover with existing rock in uniform area. 4. Remove and replace existing neo expansion joint material. 5. Extend the expansion joint wood blocking to level the area from slope 6. Apply new expansion joint material with same process of 3 course application 7. Install a new metal cap to expansion joint.
