Specifications include, but are not limited to: Body: The dump body shall be a 2-3 cubic yard capacity, made of stainless steel with dimensions approximately 9’L x 8’W, suitable for mounting on a 19,000 pound GVW chassis. The chassis has a CA of 60”. The body shall be constructed of 10 gauge 304 stainless steel. The floor of the body shall be 3/16” 304 stainless steel. Nitride pins, with grease fittings are preferred. Provide side board pockets. The top of the tail gate shall be manufactured to shed material. The hydraulically operated hoist shall be a NTEA class 20 scissor style under body hoist. Hoist shall be double acting and have a capacity of 9 tons. Safety props shall be provided for working under the body when raised in the dump position. A body headboard, with ¼ cab shield, shall extend from the floor of the body, to above the top of the cab of the truck. Provide an area in the headboard that allows the operator to see through the headboard. Hydraulic System: An open center, clutch pump driven hydraulic system shall be used to operate the hoist, auger and spreader. A pump appropriately sized to fit the 6.7L engine shall be provided as part of this bid. The pump shall meet or exceed the specifications of the Chelsea brand.
