Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Install a RealIce system, or comparable, for resurfacing the Paquette Arena ice rink with a Zamboni in a more energy efficient manner. A March 2018 report describing the benefits of installing a RealIce system at Leddy Arena is provided in Attachment G. 2. Comparable systems must explain similarities and differences between the systems, as well as the pros and cons of the differences. Comparable systems may include Zamboni FastIce or BluEco. 3. Comparable system must show projected energy savings of system for comparison with RealIce. 4. Perform work in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, codes, and ordinances of local, state and federal authorities, and in accordance with the requirements of public utility corporations having jurisdiction over the work. 5. Obtain and pay for necessary permits, licenses and certificates and give notices as required during the performance of the work. 6. Coordinate work with CIP Manager to minimize discomfort and displacement of employees in both buildings, create best efficiencies possible. The building will be occupied at all times during this contract.
