Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Drilling Services: The types of services performed under this contract for any or all of the project specific proposals are as follows: 1. Project Management o Project planning, scheduling, tracking, monitoring, control, implementation, budgeting and cost control in performing work assigned o Draft applications for applicable permits and assisting the Department in obtaining necessary permits that the vendor may need to perform the professional services required 2. Investigation and Remediation Planning o Perform field work, including: • Collection of continuous and/or discrete macro-core soil samples using direct push samplers advanced by static push, or impacts from hammers, or vibratory methods, or a combination thereof, to the depth of interest; • Collection of groundwater samples using either discrete point sampling with a sealed (protected) screen sampler or with an exposed-screen sampler; • Collection of soil as vapor samples using direct-push samplers; • Installation and development of small diameter (1 and/or 2 inch) prepacked wells; • Control, collection and containerization of soil cuttings and decontamination fluids; • Record keeping, which includes completing and submitting DNREC Well Permit Applications, Well Completion Reports, Formation Logs, and Well Abandonment Reports; • Decontamination of equipment • Site safety procedures as they pertain to normal dirct push drilling/invasive operations; • Site clean-up; • Borehole and well abandonment; • Collection of direct push high resolution vertical site profiling data using Electrical Conductivity (EC) and/or any of the following tools: Membrane Interface Probe (MIP), Hydraulic Profiling Tool (HPT), and Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF); • Presentation of high resolution vertical site profiling data in three dimensions and in real-time to aid in investigation and remediation planning; • Producing cross-sections, maps and reports of high resolution vertical profile data to aid in investigation and remediation planning.
