Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of design and project management services for the renovation of the AT&T Building located at 1031 Lee Street building includes the following: convert the first and second floors into spaces for the municipal courts, fire department, code enforcement, and fire marshal office. In addition work will include other potential occupancies on the first and second floors, build-out of the basement space, and refurbishment of the parking garage. HVAC, mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems, computer systems, phone/data system, and FFE (furniture, fixtures, equipment) will be upgraded and/or replaced to comply with current environmental and building code requirements. Asbestos abatement will be performed by others prior to start of construction. Estimate construction cost of $10 million with a design period of approximately 6 months.
