Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Vermont has a retrofit project to use LED lamps and fixtures to replace existing lighting technologies (re: Fluorescent lamps, Incandescent bulbs, and HID lamps fluorescent tubes) throughout State buildings and facilities. 2.1. All LEDs furnished under this contract shall be either Design Lights Consortium listed or ENERGY STAR certified fixtures. 2.2. In an effort to remain current with the industry and in procuring the most environmentally preferable products, it is asked that the contractor introduce new, improved LEDs for consideration for this contract. 2.3. It is preferred that packaging for products supplied under this contract meet the following: reduced packaging, recycled paper products, soy-based inks, and chlorine-free paper stock.
