Specifications include, but are not limited to: assist the NPDES Section with development of two Water Quality Improvement Plans (WQIPs) related to compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit Program. Services include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Review of existing GIS storm sewer layers, land use land cover, etc. and analysis in the development of two WQIPs. 2. Review of existing inventory and inspection data, monitoring data, watershed assessments/models. 3. Assess existing water quality models and modify as necessary for use in developing WQIPs. 4. Use existing data and field verification to determine total and effective impervious surface and project feasibility for selected watersheds. 5. Consultant may be required to conduct field studies and/or update watershed assessments of rivers, streams and/or tributaries to identify stream impairments.
