Specifications include, but are not limited to: Healthcare Navigators/Benefit Entitlement Specialists (Navigators) work with individuals in DSAMH treatment programs to ensure that individuals have insurance for Medicaid or qualified health plans offered through Delaware s health care marketplace (Choose Health Delaware) and other entitlement programs available such as Social Security. Navigators provide information to individuals in an impartial manner regarding program eligibility requirements, benefits, and the application process. Navigators assist individuals with completing their applications, including obtaining needed documentation. Navigators are responsible for coordinating and following up on referrals to other government agencies to complete program applications, ensure timely processing of applications and to resolve issues that may arise in the application process.
