Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Birdville Independent School District is interested in receiving proposals for Kitchen HVAC Replacement at Mullendore Elementary School. a. All conduits shall be run concealed in finished areas. All conduit underground or in concrete slab shall be scheduled 40 PVC. All other conduit may be thin wall. All outlets shall be flush mounted. All conduits shall be run parallel with and at right angles to the building construction and shall be level. b. Contractor will provide necessary cables, jumpers, etc. to insure continuous ground in conduit system. c. Contractor shall run all conduits tight against the structural slab. Slab shall be cored as required to install items at the locations shown on the plans. d. Types of conduit allowed RIGID, IMC or EMT. e. Conduit fittings shall be of appropriate type of conduit used, EMT conduit shall be compression type fitting. No set screw fittings are allowed. f. Conduit shall not be run thru HAVC ducts.
