Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mobilization and Pump, Transducers, and Coupons removal from dewatering wells, DW1‐ DW5 1.1 Contractor shall notify the State at least 7 days prior to start of work so the pumps can be turned off and the water levels allowed to stabilize. 1.2 Remove pumps, transducers, and stainless‐steel coupons from the wells to be videoed and slug tested. The working condition of each pump and transducer shall be documented and agreed to by the Contractor and State prior to removal. Water Tests 2.1 Pump each well for about 5 minutes before taking water sample. Measure and record temperature, pH, and Oxygen Reduction Potential of the water. 2.2 Have a qualified laboratory perform the following tests for water chemistry for each sample: pH, Total Alkalinity (as CaCO3), Total dissolved solids, Hardness (including carbonate and noncarbonate), Calcium ion concentration (as CaCO3), Iron concentrations (including Fe+2, Fe+3, and total) Silica ion concentration (as SiO2), Langelier Saturation Index (calculated).
