Specifications include, but are not limited to: offer prime professional architectural/engineering (A/E) services for Project #14-034-0405, consisting of various renovations on the Texas Department of Public Safety (TXDPS) Austin Headquarters Campus, 5805 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX, and Project #14-035-0405 consisting of HVAC modifications and related work on the TXDPS Austin Northwest Area Office, 13730 Research Blvd., Austin, TX. The project will correct numerous deferred maintenance deficiencies for multiple facilities in Austin, Texas occupied and operated by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Construction will include, but not be limited to the following: constructing life-safety improvements within an existing underground building to remain occupied and operational at all times constructing emergency exit stairs reworking parking for accessible route into buildings replacing electrical switchgear in select areas relocating emergency generator repair and replacement of various heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems (HVAC) with controls, and replacing the running track at the training academy
