Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Christina School District is seeking a vendor to operate a comprehensive program of individualized educational and social services for regular and special education qualifying students who have been recommended for alternative program interventions by one of the constituent schools. The program willprovide students with academic, behavioral, and social skill interventions while being creative in planningfor and serving these students.General Information The vendor will be provided space in a building provided by the Christina School District Student transportation to and from the program on regular school days will be provided by theDistrict. The vendor must coordinate transportation for any other activities with the District. Resumes of key staff (or job descriptions for staff yet to be hired) must be included in the proposal.All staff teaching core academic areas (as well as special education) shall hold a valid Delawareteaching certificate with Highly Qualified status. The District reserves the right to request anychanges in staff with a 30-day notice except in emergencies. The program will serve a total of approximately 100 students at any one time, 80 within the dayprogram and 20 in the Twilight program. There will be flexibility in placement between theseprograms based on collaboration between the vendor and school district. These numbers are basedon rolling enrollment and student return to home schools. The District will provide supplemental supports, including a school nurse, SRO, facilities/custodian,and food service workers.
