Specifications include, but are not limited to: This “Invitation for Bid” addresses the testing of a new coal source for the purposed use in existing coal fired underfeed stoker boilers located at the Camp Grafton North’s heating plant. Emission Measurement Center (EMC) testing methods 1-6 as recommended by the North Dakota Department of Health Air Quality Division will be used for testing. Copies of the test methods can be obtain at https://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/retrieveECFR?gp=&SID=6ab376204e97c7e6cd46104b39a731d7&mc=true&r=PART&n=pt40.9.60 Stack emission tests are being completed to determine particulates and sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions and the opacity of the heating plant’s boilers, when burning the coal. Two Emission Units, listed on the Camp Grafton North NDDH Permit To Operate #F82009, EU #1 & EU #3, will be used during the emission tests. Sampling ports have been installed on both units to accommodate stack emission testing efforts. NDARNG Camp Grafton Heating Plant 1) EU #1 (Boiler #1) Hurst, coal-fired, underfeed stoker boiler with an input rating of 6.5 X 106 BTU/hr. Particulate emissions control by Breslove cyclone with a design efficiency of 80%. 2) EU #3 (Boiler #3) Kewanee coal-fired, underfeed stoker boiler with an input rating of 6.5 X 106 BTU/hr. Particulate emissions control by Breslove cyclone with a design efficiency of 80%.
