Specifications include, but are not limited to: work with the Department s Common Ground Planning Team to design, develop and manage the Common Ground for the Common Core 2.0 initiative. To accomplish the its goals the State will conduct a nationwide search for an established vendor that has a proven track record of providing professional development to teachers and administrators on implementing instructional and assessment practices that prepare students to be college and career ready. The following chart explains the four (4) delivery structures that will be used for Common Ground for the Common Core 2. Convenings: Full-day professional development meetings. Clinics: Serve as a check in between full-day Convenings and Feed-forward/Feedback evening sessions. Feed-forward/ Feedback Sessions: These sessions serve as a vehicle for status reporting, sharing artifacts/evidence of implementation, and new information on CCSS tools and resources. Dr. Thomas Guskey s 5 Levels of Evaluation Framework will be used to evaluate the impact of the school PD plans with evidence. Webinars: Webinars should be interactive and reflect on application, extending the training and addressing problems of practice scenarios, and supplying additional resources (such as review of the facilitator s guide). Webinars are differentiated by: Elementary, Middle, and High School Math, ELA, Content Areas and Administrators.
