Specifications include, but are not limited to: The North Dakota Department of Health is soliciting proposals for asbestos removal at the Rugby City Armory, 223 South Main Ave., Rugby, ND. The Department will provide asbestos abatement at this site, as requested by the city. An asbestos survey of the building was completed on December 29th, 2018; and is included in the attachment. Abatement will include air monitoring, final air clearance, and the removal and proper disposal of the following items: Non-friable red and tan floor tile and associated black mastic (correlates with samples #33 & 34 in the assessment)- Basement room North of the Boiler Room (approximately 600 sq. ft.); Friable white pipe insulation, black felt insulation, and white mudded pipe joint insulation (correlates with samples #23-25, 26-28, & 20-22 in the assessment respectively)– Located throughout Boiler Room (approximately 150 lineal ft. of pipe insulation (of varying pipe diameter) with an unknown number of corresponding mudded joints).
