Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this project is to reconstruct the roadway and bring it up to urban road standards. Pedestrian safety is the biggest concern on this mile stretch of road. There is no existing storm sewer system; this stretch of roadway utilizes ditches, which drain to a legal drain near the south side of the project. The plan for the project would be to keep some sort of ditch but to install curb and gutter with the project to collect the roadway drainage. There is no water main in this stretch of roadway, but we would look to have it installed with the project. There is an existing sanitary sewer and it should be in good condition, but we will televise to see what condition it is in prior to final design.
