Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Repair the leak in the faulty pipe(s) of the North fountain to allow the fountain to become functional. The leak is believed to be from one or more of the outflow pipes in the North fountain. Details of the plumbing and specific pipes can be found in Appendix A. 2) Relining the four 4” outflow pipes to the vault is desired to avoid significant excavation of the granite fountain walls. Vault details can also be found in Appendix A. 3) Reseal the fountain bases to reduce the possibility of future seal leakages. 4) Replace damaged and deteriorated electrical components in the vault 5) Ensure ADA access in and out of City Hall is maintained at all times during construction. 6) Fabricate and install metal pipe railing around perimeter of both fountains. Holes from previous railing still present. Railing may consist of 1.5-2” bent pipe, 14”-16” high. s 7) Perform work in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, codes, and ordinances of local, state and federal authorities, and in accordance with the requirements of public utility corporations having jurisdiction over the work 8) Obtain and pay for necessary permits, licenses and certificates and give notices as required during the performance of the work. 9) Coordinate work with CIP Manager or Project Coordinator and the Church Street Marketplace to minimize disruption and displacement of employees in City Hall, as well as pedestrians along Church Street. The building will be occupied at all times during this contract.
