Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Coordinate Planning and Committee meetings to include the writing and distribution to the committee members of monthly planning meeting agendas and committee meeting minutes and provide progress reports as required by the Council. 2. Prepare and manage the progress plan. 3. Prepare, manage, and report a detailed conference budget (including all revenue as reported and managed by DDC and all expenses as reported and managed by Contractor). 4. Actively pursue and assist the LIFE Conference Planning Committee to secure sponsorships, advertisers and exhibitors (either as identified by the Committee or history of past sponsors, advertisers or exhibitors) to generate funds for conference expenses. 5. Secure the location, food service and audio visual needs and contract with the venue. 6. Engage and manage speakers and speaker correspondence. 7. Support the Committee in development of the conference agenda and objectives. 8. Coordinate all travel and lodging arrangements for speakers.
