Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Sioux Falls School District requests bids for the purpose of identifying vendors to provide the District’s schools with library materials. The current budget for library books is approximately $150,000 divided as follows: high schools 29%, middle schools 22%, and elementary schools 49%. This is given as a per year estimate, not a guarantee. A primary supplier and one or more secondary suppliers may be selected. The District uses the Follett Destiny library automation system. The budget for the library collection includes costs for materials, shipping, cataloging and processing. The successful bidders shall provide comprehensive cataloging/processing service for each title furnished as outlined in the bid specifications. Each bidder’s past record of service and demonstrated ability to deliver promptly will be considered in awarding this contract.
