Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vermont Department of Mental Health is seeking applications from qualified organizations to host Vermont’s Recovery Education Project and increase the availability of Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) for individuals with mental health conditions living in Vermont. Through coaching, teaching and support, individuals use WRAP to identify what makes them well, and then use their own Wellness Tools to relieve difficult feelings and maintain wellness and a higher quality of life. The organization selected through this RFP would be expected to support the following activities: 1) Support one staff position focused on the provision of training, education, technical assistance, and mentoring to increase the number of trained Wellness Recovery Action Planning facilitators in Vermont. 2) Sponsor at least one five-day WRAP Facilitator Training and one three-day WRAP Facilitator Refresher Course. 3) Support a state-wide network of Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) peer facilitators/leaders in collaboration with the Blueprint for Health. This will include: a. Assisting local Blueprint community selfmanagement staff to identify workshop leaders for planned WRAP workshops and support successful implementation of local workshops statewide; b. Providing one-on-one and small group mentoring to WRAP leaders to further develop their workshop facilitation skills; c. Developing and implementing mentoring plans to ensure that WRAP workshops are led by facilitators who are confident and competent to lead groups and who maintain fidelity to the WRAP curriculum.
