Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vermont Agency of Education seeks proposals to support SU/SD and school leadership teams in developing effective master schedules that consider how to allocate time as well as the personnel and facilities required to implement an effective schedule. The Contractor will provide training and technical assistance designed to support teams in the process of master schedule creation. The Contractor will facilitate the process by guiding participant teams to ensure the schedule creation process addresses the following questions: how to ensure all students have access to universal curriculum, when to deliver additional and intensified support, how to consider material resources and funding, as well as how to utilize all personnel in support of all students in an effective and collaborative manner. The Contractor will propose an efficient method of technical assistance to support up to 10 supervisory unions and their member schools to develop master schedules that support student learning. The proposal should leverage whole-group and individualized support to promote effective implementation and cost containment. The proposal may include face-to-face and virtual meetings as needed. Contractor will: 1. Formalize and submit a project plan within 14 days of contract execution to designated Agency staff that: a. Includes key deliverables and milestones; b. Identifies Person(s) responsible; c. Provides a Timeline for delivery. 2. For each whole group training, deliver sessions in each of two regions, North and South, in Vermont. Training sessions will cover the subject of developing effective, sustainable, and responsive master schedules. a. All logistics of the training sessions are the responsibility of the vendor; b. The Agency will provide contact information and venue suggestions as needed; c. Informational session material must be compliant with State branding and ADA accessibility standards; d. Session materials will become the property of the AOE and will be posted on its website; e. Training materials will be designed to support SU/SD and school leadership teams in the process of creating an effective master schedule. 3. Provide 12 total hours per site of virtual technical assistance coaching sessions to support the site’s effective implementation of the master schedule, troubleshoot problems, and respond to questions. 4. Develop and distribute a companion resource that provides guidance for sustained implementation of an effective master schedule. Those who have completed the abovementioned training are the intended audience, and the content of this resource will be developed based on identified AOE and SU/SD leadership team needs as well as evaluation feedback from the trainings and follow-up technical assistance meetings. 5. Offer an online participant feedback survey utilizing an online source such as Survey Monkey or Google Forms, in association with each regional training session and each virtual technical assistance session. All feedback will become the property of the AOE. 6. Produce and deliver a final report detailing the work completed.
