Specifications include, but are not limited to: Grandview senior center will undergo an air conditioning upgrade. The contractor shall remove the existing evaporative coolers and associated furnaces indicated on the mechanical demolition plan. Ductwork shall be demolished completely over the multipurpose room and kitchen. Ductwork connected to the existing furnaces shall be demolished selectively as noted on mechanical demolition plan. The existing ceiling grid over the multipurpose room shall be removed and completely replaced as noted on architectural improvement plan. Light fixtures and special systems devices shall be reused. The remainder of the lay-in ceiling system grid in the building shall remain in place and only the ceiling tiles shall be removed and replaced with new similar ceiling tiles. Refer to architectural plans for the selective ceiling demolition, cutting and patching of the existing gypsum board ceiling.
