Specifications include, but are not limited to: Noxious Weed Spraying of 1,500 or 2,000 hours in spray season (May 1 - Sept. 30). Must have pickup sprayer with hose-pulling and boom capabilities, along with ATV and UTV mounted sprayers. Chemical and dye will be provided by Custer State Park. All chemical must be applied according to manufacture label application rates. A blue dye in the herbicide shall be used to identify location of treatments. Spray locations will be determined by park personnel. Spray locations will be located within the 71,000 acre park. All roads shown on the maps should be passable with a two-wheel drive pickup during moderately dry conditions. Four-wheel drive may be needed when rain occurs.
