Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Tank a) Vertical storage tank shall have a minimum capacity of 10,000 gallons of emulsified asphalt and oil products b) Tank shall be fabricated of minimum ¼” steel c) Tank shall have an attached steel stand to place bottom of tank 8’ above ground to allow gravity feed unloading d) Insulation shall be minimum thickness of 3 inch fiberglass insulation rated to handle a minimum of 12,000 watts of heat e) Cover insulation with aluminum sheeting for weather protection f) Access ladder (rung style) to top of tank and access door g) Tank shall be heated with minimum 3-4000 watt resistance heater probes. Probes shall slide into sealed steel tubes installed inside the tank with the top being capped h) Tank heater shall have a programmable temperature controller
