Specifications include, but are not limited to: Procure Labor and Materials to Replace a 3.5 ton HVAC unit at the Northwest Bus Shop.The new unit will be a heat pump and as energy efficient as budget allows. Please bid multiple SEER rated units including 14, 16 and 20. The unit is a "split" system" unit with the condenser being on the roof and the furnace/evaporator unit on the mezzanine above the office. The new unit to be installed shall be a Carrier or a Trane. The condenser unit is 230 volt 1 phase and is located on the roof. A crane or sky lift will likely be required to remove the existing unit and set the new unit. The roof is approximately 30 feet high and the unit is about 75 feet from the edge. To prevent the possibility of future roof leaks the old line sets and thermostat wires are to be re-used. The new unit will operate on 410A so the line sets will need to be flushed.
