Specifications include, but are not limited to: The TTS Certification Program is nationally accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs. The TTS Curriculum is to aid health care professionals in becoming competent in the provision of treatment for individuals dependent on tobacco and to recognize this competence formally. This training program is designed for healthcare professionals already providing tobacco dependence treatment and for those with a strong interest in entering the field. The TTS Curriculum training includes two parts. Part One is prerequisite online learning modules to the in-person training. Part Two consists of in-person and interactive training. The last half-day of the program will consist of an examination, which tests both knowledge and counseling skills.
