Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of Grand Forks, herein referred to as “Owner”, engages contractor as an independent contractor, and not as an employee, to provide tree trimming and removal services for portions of the Greenway, as indicated on the attached maps. The work will include, but is not limited to, providing all labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the trimming and removal of trees as necessary in Lincoln Drive Park. The contractor awarded this bid may also be called upon to remove trees on other city-owned projects due to storms, hazards, emergencies or time constraint situations for an agreed negotiated rate. The exact number of trees to be removed is not known, however we anticipate the number of 50 – 80. The contracts shall continue from execution of the contract and will conclude no later than sixty (60) after the start date, pending weather conditions and access to the work area. Payment will be made on a per tree basis.
