Specifications include, but are not limited to: Smoke alarms shall be equipped with the following: 10-year lithium battery; 85dB or higher audible alarm; button used to test alarm operation; hush or silence feature to mute nuisance/false alarms; tamper-resistant design to help prevent unauthorized deactivation of the battery. Sensor type/design must be either ionization, photo-electric, or dual (both ionization and photo-electric) sensor styles. Please indicate what type of sensor in bid response. Detectors must meet Underwriters Laboratory UL217 Standard. Mounting brackets, hardware and installation instructions are to be included with each alarm. This IFB reflects tiered pricing. Line Item 1 is the price per each for a quantity of 1 to 9.
