Specifications include, but are not limited to: Stephen F. Austin State University, hereafter referred to as “SFA” or “the University”, is seeking proposals, in accordance with Gov’t Code 51.783, for a general contractor to perform contractor services associated with renovations to the Business Building third and fourth floors located on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas, in accordance with the Project Manual, Uniform General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions and other Exhibits herein and attached. The renovation of the third and fourth floors of the Stephen F. Austin State University Business Building involves cosmetic renovations to the corridors, lobbies, and public spaces of these two floors. The project involves the demolition of the several classrooms on the third floor to create a collaboration area, TV studio, conference room and computer lab. The scope of work on these two floors involves demolition, new flooring, new base, new wall treatment, new ceiling, new lighting, relocation of HVAC grilles and fire sprinkler heads, some new electrical, and signage.
