Specifications include, but are not limited to: Web Redevelop and Redesign: Professional services to redevelop University Center’s, public-facing website (www.sduniversitycenter.org). University Center (UC) seeks a world class Web presence that specifically meets the following objectives: • High quality user experience via all mobile devices • Capable of supporting sophisticated digital marketing and analytics • Serving the interests of all existing audiences, both on and off campus • Incorporating modern design strategies in anticipation of future Web trends 3.1.1. Work with University Center to create a website redesign and redevelopment project plan, including implementation timelines, task lists and content migration plan to be delivered on or before November 1, 2018. 3.1.2. Execute agreed-upon plan in 5.6.4. 3.1.3. Work with University Center to develop and/or incorporate the Web projects and applications requiring special handling, identified in Appendix A. 3.1.4. Site shall include the following functionality 3.1.4.1. Utilize responsive design or other principles to ensure a satisfying and consistent experience for all site visitors regardless of the type of device used to view the site. 3.1.4.2. Engage with current and future digital media campaigns and incorporate call-to-action functionality. 3.1.4.3. Support form creation by CMS users. 3.1.4.4. Support the display of UC-maintained social media properties, including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn and Snapchat 3.1.4.5. Ability to enter html code as may be necessary (ex: Youtube video links that allow contact to be played directly on the site or connections to Scribd for UC handbooks) 3.1.4.6. Web form functionality that allow document uploads. The ability for these forms to connect to Salesforce or some other tool. 3.1.4.7. Photos and visuals provided and/or discussion on UC providing its own stock or custom photography 3.1.4.8. Internal search engine for the site 3.1.4.9. Social sharing via AddThis, ShareThis, or similar service. 3.1.4.10. News content creation and management within CMS 3.1.4.11. Live chat capability. UC’s current site uses ProvideSupport – must integrate with this or similar service. 3.1.4.12. Full control on the ability for UC to create, edit and publish landing pages and site pages. 3.1.4.13. Option of functionality for users to be able to comment on blog posts and/or other types of content 3.1.4.14. Support of multiple languages on the site if desired 3.1.4.15. Full control of an Academics/Events calendar that supports dynamic content. 3.1.4.16. Allow UC to control what images we choose for our social media platforms and allow space for more than 4 different social media platforms (growth) 3.1.4.17. CMS that allow course schedules or rotations, program offerings, etc. to show on site.
