The selected Proposer shall provide comprehensive legislative lobbying services, including but not limited to: 1. Legislative Advocacy 1. Advocate for Board approved legislative priorities. 2. Pursue and secure federal appropriations, grants, and funding opportunities. 3. Draft and support legislative proposals beneficial to the County. 4. Monitor, analyze, and report on federal legislation affecting the County. 2. Strategic Advisory Support 1. Provide regular updates during legislative sessions and committee weeks. 2. Advise County leadership on political and legislative strategy. 3. Prepare briefing materials, bill summaries, policy analyses, and potential fiscal impact statements. 3. Representation and Engagement 1. Represent the County before legislative committees, the executive branch and other agencies as necessary.
