OVERVIEW Sandy City Parks Department is seeking proposals for the repair or replacement of the splash pad bridge located at Amphitheater Park. The existing bridge consists of salt-and-pepper granite slabs used as a bridge over water. Last season, one of the granite pieces broke in half, creating safety concerns. To mitigate this issue, a temporary concrete fix was installed, which will require removal as part of this project. Our goal is to ensure there are no gaps between stones and provide a smooth transition from the concrete surface to the granite bridge. Three of the granite slabs are in good condition and can be reused or cut to accommodate the repair. 8 SCOPE OF WORK Remove the temporary concrete patch currently in place Assess the current condition of the granite bridge Provide options for repairing the damaged slab(s) or replacing the entire bridge assembly Ensure the finished surface is safe, durable, and visually consistent with the existing design.
