Primary Specifications 2.1. ITEMS TO BE PROVIDED: Model Year 2026 or newer Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicles in the configuration as detailed herein for the Boone County Sheriff Office. The County anticipates that up to fourteen (14) pursuit vehicles may be ordered from the contract. The County will state the quantity, vehicle color, and keyed-alike code(s) at the time of order. 2.1.1. Vehicle(s) shall be designed and constructed for performance, durability, dependability, and safety suitable for law enforcement travel. 2.1.2. Each vehicle shall be outfitted with required equipment as a complete package and prepared for use with turnkey operation prior to delivery. Equipment shall be new, current year manufacturer of latest design and production that conforms in strength, quality of material and workmanship equal to equipment that is usually provided to the trade in general. 2.1.3. The unit(s) shall include all inspection coupons, certifications, or warranty identification cards furnished in accordance with standard manufacturer warranty policies. 2.1.4. Brand Specific - No Substitutions Allowed: Because the Boone County Sheriff's Office has standardized its fleet, only Ford Interceptor vehicles are acceptable. 2.2. ESTIMATED QUANTITY: 2.2.1. The contractor shall understand and agree that the County makes no guarantees about single order quantities or total aggregate order quantities. The County intends to purchase a total of 14 vehicles, but this shall not be construed by the contractor as a guarantee. 2.3. WARRANTY AND REPLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS: 2.3.1. The standard manufacturer warranty at minimum shall be provided by the contractor to include but not be limited to 3 years/36,000 miles bumper to bumper; 8 years/100,000 miles hybrid unique components; and 5-year/100,000 miles powertrain CARE Extended Service Plan (zero deductible).
