1. Collaboration with City leadership, City staff, its partners, and sub-recipients on any project. 2. Survey: The provision of necessary field survey services to determine the existing field conditions including all utilities and surface features to the maximum extent possible. A boundary survey may also be required. Preparation of survey documents for the acquisition of easements to accommodate the construction of any infrastructure may also be required. These survey documents will bear the seal of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Texas. Surveyor may be employed by the Firm or subcontractor. 3. Street Improvements: Perform design in accordance with the City of Kermit staff. Perform design that may include full depth reconstructions. The City will provide the successful proponent with the desired street cross-section which may include sidewalks. The successful proponent will need to determine ability to implement based upon field conditions and funding availability. 4. Water Improvements: Water system replacements may be identified in individual project scopes. Design will be required per current City design criteria. 5. Wastewater Improvements: Wastewater system replacements may be identified in individual project scopes. Design will be required per current City design criteria and may include gravity and force main replacements. 6. Environmental Services: Preparation of reports and permits as required by federal and state agencies. 7. Irrigation and Landscaping Services: Design may include irrigation plans as required by the City of Kermit. 8. Design Services: Preparation of Preliminary Engineering Report, with plans and cost estimate at 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% for review. Preparation of project manual, including bid documents and technical specifications. Bidding and award assistance through attendance at pre-bid, responses to questions, preparation of addenda, bidder evaluation, and recommendation of award. 9. Construction Phase Services: Provide construction phase engineering services by reviewing shop drawings, materialsubmittals, developing change orders,reviewing RFIs, conducting periodic site visits, reviewing, and approving construction pay estimates, reviewing monthly construction schedules, and updating plans a required. 10. Record Drawing Phase Services: Provide record drawing phase engineering services by surveying installed appurtenances and updating plans to reflect installed conditions.
