Event 6855 – Cyanide Antidote/Hydroxocobalamin Kits – 8 each These medications will be used to treat patients exposed to hydrogen cyanide by inhalation or other forms of cyanide through ingestion, injection or skin absorption. Cyanide Antidote Kit consisting of a single 250 mL glass vial containing 5 grams of lyophilized hydroxocobalamin for injection, one sterile transfer spike, one sterile vented intravenous infusion set, one package insert and one quick use reference guide. Does not include diluent. Once reconstituted, the hydroxocobalamin shall be stable for up to six hours at temperatures not exceeding 104 degrees F. The glass vial shall be enclosed in a package with a line indicating the fill level for the diluent to ensure accurate field use, and shall include a device to ease hanging of the inverted vial on an IV pole for field ambulatory transfer
