1. Demolition and removal of south exterior wall panel – Approx. dimensions 5’H x 16’L Ensuring no damage is done to the surrounding walls or structural components during the demolition. Proper disposal of all materials by local environmental regulations. Contractor must provide trash container/dumpster and have it on site before demolition begins. All trash must be disposed of to the City of Laredo Landfill. City of Laredo Municipal Court Department will not pay for landfill cost. 2. Repair of south exterior wall panel If necessary, reinforce the surrounding structure to ensure a secure repair. Ensure proper sealing and weatherproofing of all new installations to prevent leaks and drafts. Any structural modifications, if any, to the existing wall or frame must meet all local building codes. 3. Safety and Compliance All work shall comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards, including but not limited to fire safety, accessibility, and structural requirements. Contractor is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work site, including the use of appropriate signage, barriers, and personal protective equipment (PPE). In the case that the exterior wall panel is not in place overnight, security measures must be placed. Job site must be left clean and free of debris at the end of the work day. If needed, contractor shall obtain all necessary permits and coordinate inspections as required by the City of Laredo. City of Laredo Municipal Court will not pay for building permits. 4. Completion and Cleanup Contractor shall have 14 days to complete the project in its entirety. Contractor must notify The Municipal Court Department when beginning and ending the work. Contractor shall be responsible for cleaning the site after installation, ensuring all construction debris, materials, and equipment are removed. Upon completion, the city will inspect to ensure all work has been completed according to the specifications. Any defects or deficiencies must be addressed before final acceptance.
