Scope of Project: The successful bidder must provide, setup and install CNC Laser Cutting System in the T-200 wing at Fresno City College. The bid will include freight, off-loading, assembly, installation, and faculty/staff training of new equipment operation. Bidders must provide all installation services not enumerated in the Line Items including but not limited to wiring of the entire system, ventilation system, and chiller system as well as connections and plumbing into the filters listed in the line items. Successful bidder shall provide two weeks on-call in-person service for the new equipment and accessories. New equipment shall be an Lincoln Electric Linc-Cut 3015 5X10 CNC Laser Cutting System. Bidders may propose equipment that they believe to be equivalent to the specified Linc-Cut 3015 5x10 CNC Laser Cutting System. However, the determination of equivalency rests solely with the District. To be considered as an "approved equal," the alternative equipment must meet or exceed the specified performance, functionality, and durability standards. Bidders must provide detailed documentation, including technical specifications, performance data, and any certifications necessary for evaluation. The District reserves the right to reject any proposed alternatives deemed not equivalent at its sole discretion. Bidders response must include a list of all subcontractors being utilized for electrical and rigging work or any other trade required to complete the Scope of Work. Work plan(s) must be approved by District Operations prior to issuance of the Purchase Order. The District will be responsible to ensure proper power and data circuits are available for each piece of equipment. All bid prices must be inclusive of costs for tax, delivery, off-loading, assembly, installation, and faculty training of new equipment operation; and removal of all related packing materials and debris. Award of Contract: The District expects the Board of Trustees to authorize award of a District Purchase Order to the successful bidder at the meeting scheduled for March 3, 2026.
