Division I – New Water Tower The Contract Division I generally consists of the demolition of the existing water tower and the furnishing of labor, materials and equipment to construct a new 100,000-gal water tower. Division II – Water Treatment Plant Wells and Distribution System Improvements The Contract Division II generally consists of a new control system, the installation of actuators for three (3) buried valves, and repairs to the chlorine feed pit. The southern booster station in Town will be rehabilitated with new pipe and fittings, a new pump, and a new hatch and ladder. The booster station located on Annapolis Road will have a new flow meter, flow meter pit, additional equipment and a new standby generator installed. Other work includes the replacement of water meters throughout town and the installation of insert-a-valves in select locations. Work at the wells include replacing cla-valves with check valves and new VFD panels and data radios.
