The District is soliciting bids from qualified contractors on our Small Works Roster for the purchase and installation of a shelving system for the Rock Island Toolroom. Specifications: Shelving system must match existing Toolroom shelving brand and color (Flame Red). No substitutions will be accepted. Bidder must be an authorized dealer and installer of the shelving system. The system will consist of a combination of drawers, shelving, wall panels, and cubbies to meet the needs of the attached space. Project includes installation of: Matching service desk Two optional mobile workstations Contractor responsibilities include: Providing equipment for unloading and moving all supplies Receiving, approving, and managing delivery of all materials Removing and disposing of all packaging material Installation will be completed in two phases, one to two weeks apart. Warranty requirements: 1 year for factory defects and lifetime on mechanisms. This is a prevailing wage job. All workers on site must complete a District-provided safety orientation. District Support: The District will provide a storage area for up to a 48’ x 18’ trailer load of product within 50 feet of the installation area. The Toolroom will be prepared and cleared by District staff prior to the project start
