The Tampa Sports Authority (TSA) / Raymond James Stadium (RJS) is seeking bids for the design, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and installation of fourteen (14) sets of portable field stairs. ROLE OF STAIR SETS The portable field stair sets are placed at various locations around the field during events to provide access from the 100 level seats to the field/floor. The staircases are moved on a regular basis and are stored in a non-climatecontrolled area. GENERAL DESCRIPTION o Each stair set will have a base with four (4) wheels that can be locked and/or disengaged. Wheels should be turf-safe pneumatic tires. o Each stair set will have an arm and hitch to allow stairs to be pulled or towed. o Stair set should be removable or can be retracted to allow for easier mobility and storage. o Stair set landings will be constructed to be one step down from the seating bowl aisle to allow for improved sightlines and lessen the number of steps to ground level. o Each stair set will be adjustable within a height range to allow for the step down from the aisle to be similar to that of the height of the steps on the stair set. o Stair set surfaces and railings should be constructed within OSHA guidelines for portable stairways. o Staircases should be removable/interchangeable to allow for configurations where egress from the bowl seating aisle is directed straight or left or right to ground level. Railings must be interchangeable to allow for this configuration. o All steps on staircases will have the same rise including the bottom one to the ground level. o Width of stairs and platform shall be 48” to exceed IBC & OSHA minimum standards for stairways and will match the width of the preexisting aisle ways. o Aluminum structure should have a clear anodized finish.
