To establish a contract for the rental, installation and maintenance of water cooler dispensers, paper cups and various County departments, including Aviation, the Department of Transit and Public Works, the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, and the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources. Other departments may be added throughout the contract term. 3.3 GOODS/SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED The following specifications apply to all products: 3.3.1 Bottle-less Water Cooler Dispenser The Bottle-less Water Cooler Dispenser is a high-efficiency, direct-connect water cooler designed for continuous access to clean, purified water. The County will provide the water source and the Awarded Bidder shall be responsible for the installation of the equipment, inclusive of establishing a water line from the water source to the bottle-less water cooler dispenser. The Awarded Bidder(s) shall be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment inclusive of replacement parts. Throughout the term of the contract, the County may request additional units and/or replacement equipment. The dispenser must include a 3-stage built-in filtration system at a minimum to ensure water purity and quality, filtering out sediments, chlorine, and other common contaminants. The dispenser must offer both cooling and heating capabilities, providing: • Cold water (typically 37-50°F / 3-10°C). • Hot water (typically 185-200°F / 85-93°C) for making tea, coffee, or other hot beverages..
