The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT or the Department) in District Four desires to obtain services to video inspect existing storm sewer systems via close-circuit television (CCTV). This includes the remote videotaping of the interior of culverts, the physical inspection of the interior of existing storm sewer manholes and inlets and obtaining recommendations for appropriate methods of repair. Methods of repair will include proven trenchless pipe repair technologies. The Vendor must be certified by the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) in order to provide contractual services to the Department. Such District Wide Storm Sewer Inspection will be to inspect the existing storm sewers and to identify all repairs needed to restore the pipelines and their components (catch basins, manholes, end sections; and all other related items) to their original conditions and capacity. To achieve these objectives, a systematic, step by step program was developed consisting of the following: 1. Cleaning 2. TV Inspection and Video Taping 3. Data Management/Overview of Outputs 4. Repair Analysis and Cost Estimates 5. Final Report on Findings
