Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) is the only vendor capable of maufacturing the specialized mission seating as they are the designer and nanufacturer of the seating required in the Florida State Guard’s King Air B350ER aircraft. Because AvFab holds the proprietary engineering data and actively manufactures this seating, any other vendor would be required to perform costly and time-prohibitive "reverse engineering" to ensure system compatibility. Utilizing AvFab eliminates technical incompatibility risks, maintains the continuity of airworthiness, and avoids significant state expenses related to aircraft transportation and fuel.
