1. Construct a Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at the I-95 and US 1 interchange and other improvements on I-95 and US 1 within the Project Limits, including milling and resurfacing and reconstruction, in conformance with the RFQ requirements. The DDI shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the DDI TSM&O Checklist that is included as an Attachment. 2. Demolish and replace existing I-95 bridges over the Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) and Tymber Creek Road (Existing Bridge Numbers 790080 and 790081). 3. Follow FEC Railroad requirements for work within and over FEC right-of-way. 4. Demolish and replace existing I-95 bridges over US 1 (Existing Bridge Numbers 790082 and 790083). 5. Construct permanent retaining walls to maintain roadway embankment within the Department’s right-of-way and provide required space for maintenance, stormwater management, and flood plain compensation. 6. Construct temporary structures necessary to maintain traffic while constructing permanent works. These temporary structures may include bridge, retaining wall, and critical retaining wall. 7. Construct overhead sign structures, mast arm signal structures, and ITS structures. 8. Construct new drainage systems and modifications to existing drainage infrastructure to enhance stormwater conveyance and mitigate flooding risks. 9. Construct proposed ponds, and/or replacement of existing control structures to meet permitting requirements. 10. Rehabilitate, extend, and/or replace existing cross drains.
