n the event a property or structure within the municipal corporation limits of Piqua is in need of Nuisance Trash Abatement work and certain conditions exist, it becomes necessary for the City to cause this work to be performed. Nuisance Trash Abatement for all properties reported by the City of Piqua Community Services Department includes removal of nuisance trash reported. The following provides a typical list of services to be performed, though other similar services may be requested: • Removal of discarded trash, furniture, mattresses, etc. • Removal of discarded tires • Removal of litter • Removal of brush Work process will be as follows: • The Community Services Department reports to the contractor the property/location needing the nuisance trash abatement. • Contractor shall remove all nuisance trash items reported. he contractor shall begin the requested work within 48 hours of notification. Before/after photos will be taken and provided to the Community Services Department along with an invoice. Invoices submitted without matching date-stamped before/after photos will not be paid. The Community Services Department may elect to perform a final inspection. The selected contractor must perform the work according to this agreement. If the contractor's performance is unsatisfactoiy they will be notified and if the performance does not improve the City may terminate the contract. The awarded contractor will not be permitted to subcontract this work to anyone that is not named on the bid documents. The awarded contractor must have a sufficient labor force able to perform all above stated in the work scope. The lowest bidder will be required to give references of work that has been performed for another municipality or large commercial accounts within the last two years. The contractor is always expected to provide and utilize appropriate personal safety equipment at all times
